Play your part
We believe that everyone has a part to play in the church, so that it can be everything God intends it to be. Serving is an opportunity to participate in the church life and make a contribution through your God given gifts, skills and time.
Sunday Hosting Team
The hosting team is the first point of contact, a friendly face to welcome the church family and greet newcomers. They will also be able to point you in the right direction, if needed.
King’s Kids
A range of programmes catering for babies up to children in school year 5. The morning includes age appropriate worship, fun and learning. We're always looking for new people to join the team. Our recruitment process involves a DBS check.
King’s Youth
This team reaches out and equips the youth in Years 6-8 and 9-13 on a Sunday morning and mid-week. Our recruitment process involves a DBS check.
Hope into Action (HIA)
Hope into Action provides homes for the most vulnerable in society in partnership with local churches. There are 3 roles to serve in this ministry - befriending tenants, praying for tenants and maintaining the houses.
Sunday Set-up and Pack Down
This team is crucial in making sure the venue is ready before the Sunday meetings and is then turned around afterwards in preparation for the week ahead.
King’s Auto Repairs (KARS)
This ministry provides free car servicing and repairs for people who have an essential need for a car but face unexpected bills and serious financial difficulty.
The Feast
If you're a chef or enjoy cooking for 15-20 people, The Feast are looking for people to join their six-weekly rota. A Level 2 Food Hygiene certificate will be required.
Refreshments
Join our refreshments team and welcome our church family on a Sunday with a cuppa!
Carpark Hosting Team
This team, in their high-viz jackets provide safe, effective car parking along with a welcome smile come rain or shine!
King’s Money Advice
This team provides support to people needing help with financial challenges, from personal budgeting to debt advice. The team are particularly looking for people who can provide both pastoral and budgeting advice. Training can be provided.
Worship Team
This team helps us to connect with God through sung worship. If you love God and want to use your musical and vocal gifts to serve the church, sign up to find out more.
Little Footsteps & Noah's Ark
Each week during term-time we run a fun, day time interactive baby group called Little Footsteps and a toddler group called Noah's Ark for local parents and carers. Whether you can help set up/down, sign people in or chat and serve a cuppa to the parents and carers, we'd love to hear from you. To serve in this role a DBS check is required.
