Baby Love exists to give the most vulnerable, expectant parents support and care, at the earliest opportunity in their parenting journey.
What we do
We provide soon to be/new parents in Burgess Hill, Haywards Heath and the surrounding area with a new Moses basket, filled with a range of key new items. The content includes:

Moses basket sheets, bedding and mattress

New baby clothing

Newborn and stage 1 nappies

Wet wipes and nappy bags

Maternity sanitary wear

Muslins
-
A baby towel
-
A baby blanket

A selection of newborn and 0-3 month clothing

A few early toys... plus a small teddy!

How do referrals work?
Baskets are allocated upon the completion of a referral form. This is to ensure that the support reaches those who need it most. Referrals are prioritised in order of baby due dates.
We accept local agency/professional referrals, including from members of the Early Help team and from community midwives. Agencies can collect and deliver the baskets. Alternatively recipient consent can be given for the Baby Love team to do so.
