Courses

We run a number of courses at The King’s Church Mid-Sussex on areas such as marriage, marriage preparation, parenting and ‘Freedom in Christ’.

    

The Marriage course is very practical, giving any married couple the tools to build a strong and healthy marriage that lasts a lifetime. Each evening begins with a meal, then a talk followed by an opportunity to discuss the topic together as a couple. Topics covered include communication, resolving conflict, healing past hurt, good sex and making time for each other.  For more information visit relationship central.

The Parenting course is designed to '...equip those parenting or caring for 0 - 10 year olds, and parents to be, with long-term strategies to build a healthy family life.'  Sessions covered include building strong foundations, meeting our children's needs, setting boundaries and teaching healthy relationships. 

We are running a pilot course starting on Wednesday 11th January, 10am - 11.45am at The King's Centre, Burgess Hill.  This will be on a fortnightly basis.  A supervised creche will be provided.  The cost is £10 for the five sessions.  Please book your place by either phoning the church office on 01444 244215 or email info@tkc.org.uk.

We also run a DivorceCare support group to walk alongside you through one of life’s most difficult experiences. Don’t go through separation or divorce alone. The group is led by people who understand what you are going through and want to help. You’ll gain access to valuable DivorceCare resources to help you deal with the pain of the past and look forward to rebuilding your life.
