TKC Kids
TKC Kids is the children's ministry of The King's Church Mid-Sussex. Children always have been, and always will be a hugely important part of church life.
Our childrens programme for 3-10's runs for the whole length of the morning meeting, from 10.30am - 12noon, allowing time for age appropriate worship, as well as teaching and play. Children can be registered into their programmes from 10.20am onwards.
There will still be regular opportunities in church life for us to all worship together and we are planning specific mornings where we develop all age worship, the first of which is on the 14th October. In addition to this our children will stay in for Baptism Celebrations which we hope to have on a regular basis in the new building, the first of which is on the 30th September.
Below is a taster of all that happens within our TKC Kids programme.
TKC Kids Creche
Our créche is available to parents of all children under the age of 3 years. We aim to create a caring, sharing, fun environment for your toddlers and babies. Parents of children aged 1-3 are free to either stay and play or return to engage in the adult meeting. However we do ask that parents of children under 1 stay with their child in crèche.
TKC Kids Pre-school
In this age group, your child will begin to learn Bible stories, enjoy singing together, play with friends and also pray together each week. All play activities are aimed at encouraging sharing, fairness and creativity. A section of the time in our pre-school programme is spent alongside the older age group, Reception & Year 1, who are a great influence on how to play well, and get along with others.
TKC Kids Reception & Year 1
Something exciting is always going on here. In this group, we cover subjects including miracles, creation, and Bible characters. Each child will also take home a weekly work sheet about the topic covered that morning.

TKC Kids Years 2-6
Those in Years 2 - 6 at primary school have an action packed programme including front-led presentation, drama, activities and worship, as well as small group discussion, prayer and learning activities covering a wide variety of Bible themes, characters and stories. Keep an eye out for competitions, prizes and some great give-aways as well. |
