TKC Kids is the children's ministry of The King's Church Mid- Sussex. Children always have been, and always will be a hugely important part of church life. Below is a taster of all that happens within our TKC Kids programme.
Our créche is available to parents of all children under the age of 2 years and 6 months.
We aim to create a caring, sharing, fun environment for your toddlers and babies. Parents are free to either stay and play or return to engage in the adult meeting.
In this age group, your child will begin to learn Bible stories, enjoy singing together, play with friends and also pray together each week.
All play activities are aimed at encouraging sharing, fairness and creativity. A section of the time in our pre-school programme is spent alongside the older age group, Reception & Year 1, who are a great influence on how to play well, and get along with others.
 
Something exciting is always going on here. Covering subjects like miracles, creation, and Bible character. Each child will also take home a work sheet every week about the topic covered that morning.

Those in years 2 - 6 at primary school have an action packed programme including front led presentation, drama, activities and worship, as well as small group discussion, prayer and learning activites covering a wide variety of Bible themes, characters and stories. Your child will also recieve a copy of our monthly take home sheet - 'The Mag'. Keep an eye out for competitions, prizes and some great give-aways as well.
TKC Kids isn't just something which happens on a Sunday morning.
We also run an extensive programme in local primary schools, hosting assemblies, school clubs and RE lessons.
We also host Saturday morning events, known as TKC Kids Alive throughout the year, attracting children from across the area. For details of any of these events coming up in the near future, keep an eye on this website, or contact the church office.
